Former Hamas captive Erez Kalderon celebrated his Bar Mitzvah

Former Hamas captive Erez Kalderon celebrated his Bar Mitzvah in Kiryat Gat, southeast of Ashkelon, on Thursday, after spending his 12th birthday in captivity in Gaza.

Kalderon was abducted by Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023, during attacks in southern Israel. He was taken along with his father, Ofer, and his 16-year-old sister, Sahar, from their home in Kibbutz Nir Oz.

Erez and Sahar were among 105 hostages released last November in a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas. Ofer, now 53, remains in captivity in Gaza.

O ex-refém do Hamas Erez Kalderon celebrou seu Bar Mitzvah em Kiryat Gat, sudeste de Ashkelon, na quinta-feira, após passar seu 12º aniversário em cativeiro em Gaza.

Kalderon foi sequestrado por terroristas do Hamas em 7 de outubro de 2023, durante ataques no sul de Israel. Ele foi levado junto com seu pai, Ofer, e sua irmã de 16 anos, Sahar, de sua casa no Kibutz Nir Oz.
